Private Dining

If you prefer a more secluded setting, we have several options available. Down in the vaults, we have the Stubelius Room, which can accommodate up to 16 people. For larger groups, we have the Bellman Floor, with space for up to 38 people. It consists of multiple rooms and can be divided for smaller groups.

Stubelius Room

In the Stubelius Room, you can enjoy a private setting for up to 16 people.

The room is located in the old vaults of Den Gyldene Freden. It is named after Torsten Stubelius, the architect who was commissioned to renovate the property after Anders Zorn’s purchase in 1919. During the renovation, Stubelius rediscovered many of the house’s forgotten and bricked-up vaults.

For groups larger than 10 people, a pre-ordered set menu from the à la carte menu is required. The menu should be ordered at least three days in advance.

The minimum charge for the Stubelius Room is 15,000 SEK, regardless of the number of guests.

Bellman Floor

Capacity: Up to 38 people Private setting within the restaurant

The Bellman Floor is located on the second floor with windows overlooking Österlånggatan and Tullgränd. The interior design is a fusion of Bellman’s 18th-century style and architect Torsten Stubelius’ 1920s touch. It consists of three rooms – an anteroom, the Zorn Room, and the Bellman Room. For exclusive dinners for smaller groups of up to 6 people, the Zorn Room can be separated from the rest of the floor. The floor has its own restroom and entrance.

For groups, a pre-ordered set menu from our banquet menu is required.

This menu should be ordered at least 14 days in advance. The minimum charge for the Bellman Floor is 45,000 SEK, regardless of the number of guests.
